Here is another great visual aid for the classroom or just a really cool display set. This is a set of 4 different 2 3/4” 12 gauge shotgun shells, each with a different load. They include #8 bird shot, BBB load, 00 Buck load and a very nice 12 gauge slug. The best part is the shells are translucent and a transparent shot card is used under a roll crimp! These look great and are the best and easiest way to describe and show what goes into the makeup of different loads. The entire shell is INERT but looks like the real deal down to the fake powder (actually coffee grinds), a cork buffer, a wad that has had 2 of the ‘petals’ removed to better see the load, and a transparent shot card.

Please note: The Full Pistol and Full Rifle assortments above come complete with the listed calibers. Of course there are pistol calibers than can be fired from rifles and rifle calibers that can be fired in pistols. I separate them according to what calibers are most common to pistol or rifles. If you want to add some overlap calibers to your order to suit your needs you can purchase any caliber individually on the OTHER QUANTITIES page.

Also includes a 22 LR inert cartridge. It is made by hand using a spent case and a 22 caliber air rifle pellet. It is made so it will not chamber in a firearm. It is simply cool for the display. Not available separately.

“Thought I’d share this with you.  It’s been a busy time after my “Christmas” present arrived, but it turned out great.  Thanks for the dummy bullets!!!  It should be quite the conversational piece to keep down at our hunting ranch.  The 3 plates are Rifle on the bottom, Pistol in the middle, Shotgun at the top.  All the plates rotate on bearings, and all the rounds are removable for a closer look. “

This is very cool set! These will look great in your cartridge assortment. 5 different 12 Gauge ‘specialty’ shells. All have a nice neat roll crimp and are made with semi transparent hulls of varying length. You get:

*law enforcement/military style 00 Buck shell with 12 pellets

*Rifled slug in a 2 3/4” high brass hull

*Buck-and-ball in 2 3/4” high brass hull (6 00 pellets w/ 1 .715” ball)

Less-than-lethal (rubber projectile used by law enforcement)

Mini 12 gauge (1 3/4” with #8 bird shot)
